Our Facility
An Engaging Environment
Offers an environment where residents have the opportunity to participate in everyday life in their home and community. We offer structured services and supports necessary to assist our residence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). ADL skills include upper and lower extremity dressing, toilet hygiene and bowel/bladder management, bathing and showering, personal hygiene/grooming, eating and feeding, functional mobility, and sleep and rest. IADL occupations are more complex than ADL skills and are vital for residents to prepare for independent living. These activities are needed to participate independently in home, school, community, and work environments. IADL skills include meal preparation, community mobility, health maintenance, home management (clothing care, cleaning), shopping, and care of others and pets.

What are Adult Residential Facilities?
Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) are non–medical facilities that provide room, meals, housekeeping, supervision, storage and distribution of medication, and personal care assistance with basic activities like hygiene, dressing, eating, bathing and transferring. This level of care and supervision is for people who are unable to live by themselves but who do not need 24-hour nursing care. They are considered non-medical facilities and are not required to have nurses, certified nursing assistants or doctors on staff.
